A really funny book with loads of clean jokes that my two girls are really enjoying. I bought the kindle version to have on my phone for doctor's waiting rooms and long shopping queues over the holiday season, and have now ordered 3 paperback versions to give to my niece and nephews for Christmas. It's great that I don't have to worry about what the girls are reading, as all the jokes are clean and age-appropriate.
My 4 year old approves of the jokes in this book, even the ones she doesn't quite get why they are funny. We went through half the book in one session of sitting on the potty waiting for her to be done before bed time, and much giggling ensued.
Today, I had lunch with my darling little grandsons (aged 5 and 8) who have just received the 'Knock-Knock Jokes' book by Jessica Jacobs. They were in stitches over asking me knock-knock jokes during lunch, often getting the punch line mixed up with the first part of the joke. It was pure joy to see them having so much fun. Then, they started interviewing each other with Knock Knock Jokes. It was hilarious! I wish this book had been around when my children were young - all we had was 'I Spy With My Little Eye' which became 'old' very quickly. Thank you Jessica for such a fun, family book.
This was a gift for my 8 year old. It's easy to read, nice print. Some of the jokes were a little cheesy but he seemed to enjoy it. Shipping was quick
My 7 year old son and I laughed so much. Our favorites are the "food" jokes. The book is divided into different sections like food, names, and animals. My son was intrigued by the humor in changing the meaning of a word by playing on sounds. Some of the jokes really lend themselves to fun and funny accents too. And, these jokes are clean which is refreshing.
I didn't know there were so many funny, clean, good for kids Knock-Knock jokes! Had a lot of fun reading it with my 7 year old granddaughter - who loves drama and really clowned it up. Fun read and very well done book.
Kids were reading this all day after Christmas morning.
