I ordered this book for PLT: k-6 (5622) and the front cover says k-6 but the content, study questions, etc are geared toward 7-12. Information is incorrect.Examples:1. Bloom’s taxonomy has 6 levels. The book only lists 5.2. Negative reinforcement is not a punishment as stated in this study guide.
I purchased this book for Principles of Learning and Teaching: K-6 (5622) and the front cover says K-6 but the content, study questions, etc. are geared toward 7-12. Information inside is incorrect. All of the pages are labeled as 7-12. The spine of the book also says "raxis PLT..." instead of "Praxis."
I most definitely rate this book 5 stars! Not being an teacher, but going back to school to be a school counselor, this book is phenomenal with teaching me the concepts and material needed to pass the PLT Praxis. There is no way I could do it without this guide. I love the practice test questions and I don’t know anyway you could improve this! I am looking forward to receiving the essential test tips DVD and I appreciate you providing that. Thank you!
I enjoyed this book! It was easy to follow. I work and am in school, as well as very active and this made it very easy to pick up, study, and then get on with other things. The bolded words throughout the chapter were super helpful and the content questions throughout kept my reading more accountable. I loved the online practice materials.
